10 Even More Upcoming Movies That Are Already Doomed

7. Fast X: Part 2

Even though Fast X was better than the previous entry, it's clear The Fast and the Furious is almost out of steam. Despite bringing in heaps of cash, Fast X barely made a profit against its $340 million budget. For context, that film cost more than Avengers: Infinity War.

As such, the official franchise finale will have a lower budget. Rather than making the final instalment a showstopper, it looks like the production will be forced to scale the action back. Considering physics-defying battles and driving in space are some of what the series is known for, fans are going to be ticked off if Fast X: Part 2 doesn't throw in everything, including the kitchen sink.

However, one aspect that should get everyone geared up for the climactic chapter is the return of Jason Momoa's character, Dante Reyes. Sure, Fast X was lacklustre, but Momoa's zany performance was among the series' biggest highlights.

Unfortunately, reports suggest Dante will be repurposed for the Hobbs spin-off, meaning Dominic Toretto and his family will face off against another antagonist. If that's the case, Fast X: Part 2 will be deprived of the best thing about its predecessor.
