10 Exact Moments We Knew Horror Movie Characters Were Doomed To Die

9. Final Destination 5 - Sam And Molly Board The Plane

This might seem like an obvious pick, because the exact moment you know horror characters are doomed to die in any Final Destination flick is whenever the opening credits are over.

This is a series based around the pre-determined deaths of its main characters, all of which have defied the Grim Reaper's grand plan and are being picked off to set the record straight.

That said, each movie does tease us with the possibility that some will avoid this fate for good, and the fifth movie introduces a seemingly surefire way to get off Death's hit list.

In the final scene, survivors Sam and Molly are seen boarding a plane, which might seem inconspicuous, but not in this franchise. See, remaining characters have a bad record with public transport-related deaths, and this particular plane just so happens to be the exact same one found in the original movie - the one which we know explodes shortly after takeoff.

With this revelation - alongside the fact that the sequel was actually a prequel the whole time - the audience can only strap themselves in for Sam and Molly's inevitable fiery deaths.
