2. Harvey Keitel Provides The Voice Of The Radio Operator In Inglourious Basterds

Harvey Keitel had always been one of Quentin Tarantino's favourite actors, even before he got to cast him in movies like Reservoir Dogs and Pulp Fiction.

Keitel is also one of Tarantino's best collaborators: as is the case with Christoph Waltz and Samuel L. Jackson, QT's trademark dialogue just sounds right coming out of Keitel's mouth. Which is why, perhaps, the director asked the man if he'd provide the voice of a radio operator in Inglourious Basterds. Just a couple of lines. No biggie.

Yup: you can hear Keitel towards the end of the movie when Brad Pitt's Lt. Aldo Raine makes a deal over the radio to spare diabolical Nazis Hans Landa's life and escort him across enemy lines. The role is completely uncredited (nor has it officially been confirmed), but c'mon, that's Keitel, right?

He must really like Tarantino if he was willing to take the time to record this minor part - one that could've been done by just about anyone. Still, the fact that it's Keitel makes things far more interesting.
