10 Facts You Probably Didn't Know About Hogwarts
3. Regenerations
As well as the protection Hogwarts has on it's staff and students using magical enchantments around the grounds to hide itself, hidden rooms round every corner and many more unknown features, the school is so clever that it can also transform it's entire look when needed via regeneration. Is there anything this school can't do?
In fact, Hogwarts is the oldest in use school in the world, founded around 990 AD by the four founders Salazar Slytherin, Rowena Ravenclaw, Helga Hufflepuff and Godric Gryffindor.
Since then, Hogwarts has become the safe haven for all magic folk when they were children, lasting through the Wizarding War and the Battle of Hogwarts, in which much of the school stood in ruins afterwards, including the Quidditch arena that was completely set on fire.
It is said the grounds regenerated themselves after the famous epic battle between Voldemort and Harry, in order to remain a building fit for use for the future of the wizarding world.
