7. Good Will Hunting 2: Hunting Season (Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back)
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MZ70hbvaPdU Perhaps in retrospect, Good Will Hunting is a somewhat soppy, awkwardly sentimental and Oscar-baiting slice of cinematic endeavor, though you can't deny its relative charm and overall watchability. Still, it's a movie that kind of marks itself as being wholly ripe for parody, given it's earnestness, something that even Matt Damon and Ben Affleck were willing to admit when they got together to shoot a fake trailer for Good Will Hunting 2: Hunting Season for Kevin Smith's Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back. In the context of that movie, Jay and Silent Bob accidentally wander onto the set of the movie (once again being directed by a money-obsessed Gus Van Sant), which suddenly morphs into a re-hashed clip from the original movie, with Will going up against a college yuppie in a bar. This time, though, Will finishes the guy off with a shotgun blast to chest (instead of with his intellect), suggesting that, yes, the original might've been better with more shotgun scenes. "Apple sauce, bitch!"
