Seriously. Brock Landers: Angles Live In My Town, for all intents and purposes, is a fictional porn movie from Paul Thomas Anderson's seminal debut follow-up Boogie Nights. And here's a porno that stars Mark Wahlberg and John C. Reilly as a crime fightin' duo called Brock Landers and Chest Rockwell. They jump across rooftops in bad costumes, performing awfully-realised stunts, and firing the world's worst fake handguns. It looks so-awful-it's-good in a seriously spot-on '70s porn movie fashion, and it's apparent that Anderson got the sleazy aesthetics just right. Still, for Wahlberg and McGinley, this must've been so much fun to shoot. Just about as much fun as it would be to watch, actually. Maybe a bit less, then.
