3. Rain Of Madness (Tropic Thunder)
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j-zAzeztQi4 Unashamedly inpired by the crazed, revelatory documentary masterpiece, Hearts of Darkness (which shed some all-important light on the hellish and terrifying making of Apocalypse Now), Rain of Madness is the Tropic Thunder equivalent, as witnessed here as a trailer for a mockumentary about a fake movie within a movie (you got that?). Complete with the same Apocalypse Now/Doors-styled musical cues and earnest narration inherent in Heart of Darkness, this is ripe parody that would be hilariously fun to watch in feature-length form. Given that the fact that Tropic Thunder's director, Damien Cockburn, was blown up by a mine during the making of the movie, Rain of Madness would make for some seriously gripping viewing material.
