1. The Mighty Ducks (1992)
On the surface, a fun hockey flick about a bunch of misfits learning to be a team, as well as the dangers of drunk driving. However, the mildest of analysis reveals extreme political indoctrination. Without question, The Mighty Ducks is about Communisms superiority to Capitalism and Fascism. The Ducks: working class kids without the resources and opportunities of the other teams in Minnesotas peewee division. Their biggest enemies: The Hawks, brutal upper class skaters dressed in black. Dirty tactics, physical intimidation. A peewee death squad. Rich Mr. Ducksworth gives the Ducks their start, but in the end he abandons them, because you cant depend on Capitalism. Eventually, the kids learn that ducks fly together, and by believing in each other, the Ducks become mighty. Quack. Quack. Quack. The song of the proletariat.
