10 Family Films That Secretly Brainwashed You

1. The Mighty Ducks (1992)

The Mighty Ducks On the surface, a fun hockey flick about a bunch of misfits learning to be a team, as well as the dangers of drunk driving. However, the mildest of analysis reveals extreme political indoctrination. Without question, The Mighty Ducks is about Communism€™s superiority to Capitalism and Fascism. The Ducks: working class kids without the resources and opportunities of the other teams in Minnesota€™s peewee division. Their biggest enemies: The Hawks, brutal upper class skaters dressed in black. Dirty tactics, physical intimidation. A peewee death squad. Rich Mr. Ducksworth gives the Ducks their start, but in the end he abandons them, because you can€™t depend on Capitalism. Eventually, the kids learn that €œducks fly together,€ and by believing in each other, the Ducks become mighty. Quack. Quack. Quack. The song of the proletariat.
