10 Famous Actors Who Play The Same Role In Every Horror Movie

When your first ever film role comes at the age of three in a major Stephen King adaptation, you know you've done well for yourself.

That's exactly what happened to Miko Hughes when he was selected for the role of Gage Creed in the first big screen version of Pet Semetary.

At first, Gage is just a sweet little boy, the youngest child of the central family who all move to a rural town in Maine. Gage goes through all the typical pitfalls of being a toddler; teething, potty training, being hit by a truck...

Oh dear.

Gage ends up coming back to life as an evil, scalpel-wielding demon, but we're just focused on the bit where he was a nice, non-devilish human child.

He found work again in the incredibly meta Wes Craven's New Nightmare. Now a positively ancient eight years old, Hughes plays Dylan, the son of a fictionalised version of Nightmare actor Heather Lagenkamp.

Told you it was meta.

Hughes definitely made the most out of his youth, playing the "child in distress" role to perfection in two fantastic horror movies.

Hopefully they didn't mentally scar his young brain too badly!
