10 Famous Actors Who Tried To Be Musicians (And Hilariously Failed)
8. Lindsay Lohan
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-fBBQXV4ysg In 2004, at the mere age of 18, Lindsay Lohan was already Hollywood's "It girl" and had released an album, Speak, which hit #4 on the charts and eventually went Platinum, while her second album the next year, A Little More Personal (Raw), peaked at #20 and went Gold, a fine achievement even if not as successful as her first record. Since then, Lohan hasn't released anymore albums, though was spotted in a recording studio late last year experimenting with some new tracks. In fairness to Lohan, she didn't receive the total critical drubbing many expected: some journalists commended Lohan's unique vocal style (due to her husky voice), even if the content of her music was otherwise criticised for being too generically bubble-gum, and failing to distinguish itself from the hundreds of other artists clogging up the market. Lohan didn't embarrass herself quite as much as some of this list's grimmer entries, though her effort still wreaked of an enterprising young actress simply trying to make her presence felt in as many fields as possible, without putting too much effort in. Many journalists noted how rushed the production sounded, clearly an effort on the part of Lohan to capitalise on her popularity while it was at its peak.
