9. George Clooney -Return to Horror High
Then George Clooney, one of the most memorable faces of Hollywood in its entirety, began life on the big screen through a few appearances in some unconventional horror films. After a short spell on the original E/R and a couple of one-off roles in other shows, his first main role came in the sequel to Attack of the Killer Tomatoes, a role Im sure every small time actor in America was really pining for. However, his true start in the movie world came in a small role as an early victim in Return to Horror High. He doesnt play that big a role, that of movie set security guard Oliver, or put in that impressive a performance, but there is one quick line, during a conversation with an actress on the fictional set, that foreshadowed Clooneys upcoming sky rocket to stardom: Gonna be a star, Oliver? Gonna try. Ah, retrospective.
Now Try he did. A longer string of one-off roles in both movie and television made it seem like Clooney would never get a big break, something we can collectively look back and laugh at following his casting in the hit medical drama ER. This huge role would give Clooney massive success and make him one of the most well-known names in the world. Not bad, Oliver, not bad.
