If you still count it in the series, going in reverse chronological order will bring you from The Next Generation to Leatherface: The Texas Chainsaw Massacre 3, which starred Viggo Mortensen as Tex, who is probably the most suave and sexy of the Sawyer family, even if that really isnt saying much (take a look at Leatherface - it isnt). Mortensens performance is above the bar of most others on this list - he balances the gruesome depravity and confident charm of the character well and gives fans exactly what they would come to expect of the familys newest member.

Viggo may be one of the less memorable names on this list, but his various pursuits in fine arts, photography, poetry, song, and literature have made him a very influential man, which is incredibly sophisticated seeing as he started off playing a crazy redneck cannibal.
