10 Famous Directors You Didn't Know Had Really Weird Fetishes
9. Oliver Stone Has A Strange Infatuation With His Mother
Oliver Stone has directed some of the most famous movies of all-time, including Platoon, Born on the Fourth of July and JFK (he also wrote Scarface; brilliant). That aside, he also has a inarguably weird relationship with his mother, Jacqueline Goddet - one that you could easily classify as a fetish because... well, you'll see. First off, there's the notion of a character in his novel A Child's Night Dream, in which there is a character named - yes - "Oliver Stone," who has a sexual fetish for his mother. That's weird enough in itself, but when you consider that Goddet herself once claimed that: "Oliver didn't just love me. He was in love with me," things start to get somewhat uncomfortable. And Stone doesn't deny that there's something going on, either. "Your mother's body is the first thing you know and, frankly, it's very attractive and it turns you on," he was once quoted as saying when faced with his mother's quote about him having been in love with her. The weirdest thing of all, though? She apparently taught him how to masturbate. "It was no big deal," he said on the matter. "It's not English. It's French. It was no big deal. I wasn't attracted to her. You have to understand. After a certain point, I grew up and I moved on. And I've had successful relations - with everybody!" Just... what? What?
