10 Famous Movies That Would Have Been Better Off With Their First Choice Actors

8. O.J. Simpson As The Terminator - The Terminator

Just to be perfectly clear, we're talking about the original film here, not Arnie's performance in T2 or T3. O.J. just would've been perfect in the role of the almost silent killer in the 1984 original. Whilst Schwarzenegger admirably tries his best with what he's given, he stands out in a crowd and doesn't really fit the bill as an assassin sent from the future, as you can spot him from three miles away. Simpson, in contrast, would've blended into the crowd, but due to him also being an ex-Football player, he would be somewhat physically imposing. We'll leave acting out of this, because outside of The Naked Gun series, he really hasn't appeared in much. Also: the T-800 doesn't really have many lines in the original film. As we mentioned, it's not that Schwarzenegger is bad in the original film, but his performance is much improved in the two sequels, and we don't think Simpson could best him in those ones. Want to know why the producers didn't cast Simpson in the role? They thought he was too nice to play a cold-blooded killer. Oh, the irony.
