10 Famous Movies That Became Too Real

4. Man Assaults Woman Whilst Dressed As Droog - A Clockwork Orange

Stanley Kubrick was so afraid of the influence his movie, A Clockwork Orange, might have on society, that he opted to ban it months after it was first released. It wasn't made available for viewing until years later, but there are still many who think that the film's scenes of ultra-violent are a curse on mankind in general. That's to say, A Clockwork Orange is seen as bad news. Based on what happened at an office party in the UK back in 2007, you might be swayed to agree with those who take offence to the movie. That's to say, a man named John Ricketts - dressed in the same iconic droog outfit as depicted in Kubrick's flick - took it upon himself to punch a woman, dressed as Little Britain's Vicky Pollard, in the face after she was taking up too much room on the dancefloor. Who knew that simply wearing a droog costume could inspire a man to do something so terrible?
