10 Famous Uncredited Roles You May Not Have Noticed

3. Richard Curtis - Love Actually

Universal Pictures

As if Love Actually didn't have a big enough cast already, its director, Richard Curtis, can also be added to the list. The man famous for writing The Vicar Of Dibley, Notting Hill and Bridget Jones, offers his acting services as well as his direction in the Christmas rom-com that served as his directorial debut.

As Chiwetel Ejiofor and Keira Knightley (this time minus the croissant headpiece) walk down the isle, best-man Andrew Lincoln arranges for an orchestral rendition of The Beatles' "All You Need Is Love", with hidden musicians emerging from the pews, including the back of Richard Curtis' head, as he makes up part of a trio of trombone players. Such is the obscurity of this appearance that, without the use of Will Ferrell's app 'FaceBack', there's no distinguishable way to determine whether it is truly him or not.
