6. Michael Mando - Spider-Man: Homecoming
Spider-Man: Homecoming was nothing short of a triumphant return to the big screen for the famous Marvel web-slinger. The film elicited such joy and captured so many iconic characters with such precision that it almost feels wrong to poke a hole in any element of the film.
But if one were looking for such things, the brilliant Spider-Man: Homecoming is guilty of criminally underusing the supremely gifted Michael Mando.
Now, to be fair, this entry is somewhat different to the others because the end of the film *spoilers* teases a return for Mando's Mac Gargan somewhere down the line. However that return is yet to rear its head as yet and an actor of Mando's immense talent and charisma deserves more than a couple of lines during an end of credits scene.
Mando soared to fame as one of the most iconic video game antagonists of all time in Far Cry 3's Vaas and has received critical acclaim for his stunning work as Nacho Varga in Better Call Saul, showing an ability to be both sympathetic and psychotic in equal measure. He deserved more screen-time to flesh out a potential Scorpion, though the hope that he will soon receive that chance remains.
