9. Elektra Natchios (Elektra)
Elektra was an utterly atrocious movie - one of the worst comic book adaptations ever, no less - but there's no doubting that Jennifer Garner's interpretation of the character kicked some serious ass. After having died in the
Daredevil movie at the hands of Bullseye (Colin Farrell), Elektra Natchios was revived by a blind martial arts master named Stick (Terence Stamp) using Kimagure magic. He teaches her the ways of the Kimagure, which give the wielder telepathic abilities and the ability to resurrect the dead, as well as deadly martial arts skills. Due to the rage within her, she is expelled from the Kimagure training compound and decides to use her new-found abilities to become a contract killer. However, thanks to the goodness within her, she fails to kill her first targets and this results in the Hand - a mysterious order of martial artists for whom she is working - hunting her down for her failure. This brings her in to battle with a plethora of ninjas, who she dispatches with relative ease using her skills and her trusty sais. Ultimately, she finds out that Kirigi (Will Yun Lee) - one of the Hand's most deadly assassins - was the person who killed her Mother, resulting in a final showdown in which she kills him and avenges her Mother's death.
