It seemed like Natalie Portmans shaved head was the talk of Tinsel Town (and therefore the world) when she went bald back in 2005. Memorably getting it cut off on camera in V for Vendetta, Portman looked as good without her hair as she did with it. She plays Evey, alongside the masked Hugo Weaving in the action-packed film about tyranny and liberty. V for Vendetta centres around V (the guy in the Guy Fawkes mask), an anarchist terrorist who is waging war on the fascist government of his time. While on his way to blow up the Old Bailey, V rescues Evey from some dodgy attackers and then impresses her by saying all the words he knows beginning with V. The road the pair then embarks upon together ultimately ends with Evey getting all her hair cut off, in rather traumatic fashion. Portman was already a big name by the time V came out. She was the little girl in Leon and played Padme Amidala in the newest Star Wars films but her bald head still brought he a whole new wave of attention.
