Carol Danvers has possessed numerous abilities, looks and code names over the years, but its her current role as Captain Marvel thats sent the rumor mill flying regarding a possible film adaptation. With a power set that includes super strength, flight and energy manipulation, Danvers could be the powerhouse Marvel needs to rival heavy hitters such as Thor or Hulk on screen. As a long serving member of the Avengers, Captain Marvel could easily rear her head in a future installment and if theres no room there, then her alien origins could be linked with the upcoming Guardians of the Galaxy movie. Should Be Played By: Charlize Theron Captain Marvel would have been higher on this list but I feel that Danvers has a bit of an identity crisis in the comics. Thats why someone like Theron would be ideal; her screen presence and raw charisma would help the character to stand out.
