1. Apokolips (DC)
Apokolips is the fiery Fourth World home planet of the brutal New God Darkseid - the alien arch-nemesis of Superman and the Justice League. It is an ecumenopolis - built-up areas cover its entire surface - with burning fire-pits all over it, which exists in between dimensions, occupying a "frequency" somewhere between the physical universe and Hell. The war that occurred in the DC Universe which destroyed the Old Gods and created New Genesis and Apokolips separated the Fourth World from the rest of the universe proper, leaving it accessible by Boom Tube. As well as Darkseid, it is home to countless other well-known characters such as Kalibak, Mantis, Big Barda, Mister Miracle, the Female Furies, Amazing Grace and Glorious Godfrey. Points of interest include Darkseid's Palace, the surrounding district of Armagedda (which is home to vicious Parademons and Hunger Dogs) and Granny Goodness' twisted orphanage. In a live action movie, Apokolips' fiery surface could look incredible and it would be amazing to finally see Darkseid and his forces on the big screen.
