8. Third Earth (ThunderCats)
Third Earth is the planet that the ThunderCats made their own after their home planet of Thundera was destroyed. It is the home of a wide variety of sentient and non-sentient beings of both native and alien origins. In terms of prominent locations, the Cat's Lair (pictured) is the one that stands out. Designed by Tygra and built in a joint effort by the ThunderCats and the Berbils, it is a striking cat-shaped building which is built in to a hillside. Other locations that would look great in a live action movie include Castle Plun-Darr (the fortress of the evil mutants), the Crystal Kingdom (the home of Queen Tartara), the Berbil Village, the Castle of the Snowmen on Hook Mountain and, of course, Mumm-Ra's Pyramid which is home to a plethora of secret chambers, dark creatures and mysteries only completely known to Mumm-Ra himself. A ThunderCats movie would be incredible and the wonderful setting would only assist its cause.
