Peter Rabbit may not gain the same critical success as other films on this list, but its absence from theatres over the Easter break is a huge disappointment to children and adults alike. Sony have decided to shift the release date to later in the year, fearing cinema turnouts will be low at this time.

The first Peter Rabbit film was a smash hit, taking in an incredible $350 million worldwide. With such big money on the table, the studio are making a smart business decision with this delay. The new release date is scheduled for August 2020, coinciding with the schools summer break. This should ensure the same income as they predicted, but with the Easter angle being taken away, the film may still fall short of expectations.

The star studded cast includes James Corden and Margot Robbie reprising their respective roles from the first instalment. This time round, Peter Rabbit escapes the garden to explore the world, with plenty of mishaps of course. Peter finds his brand of mischief is appreciated outside of his garden, but his family are less pleased with him. Putting their own lives in danger, they try and track down Peter to convince him to come back home.
