10. Hulk
Ang Lee's 2003 take on the Hulk runs in at 138 minutes, which isn't exactly a snooze-inducing runtime by most standards, but remember that this film is supposed to be aimed at the kid crowd as well as everyone else. The movie looks great for the most part, and though he's seen as the "lesser" Bruce Banner, Eric Bana does a fine job nevertheless. The problem with the film is that it spends far too long fashioning an origin story, such that by the time it's finished, there's not a whole lot of time for everything else, namely "Hulk smash!" Banner takes about 45 minutes to become the Hulk, when in reality, it shouldn't have taken any more than about 20. It also drags its feet with somber emotional scenes rather than being fun and light as it should have been. Perhaps that's the cost of hiring Ang Lee, an acclaimed art-house director, to turn his hand towards blockbuster "action".
