A true genius and an innovator in the comedy world, but we all know biopics are tricky business. You need the perfect actor to pull it off, an amazing screen writer and director, and - of course - a life worthy of an entire film. And in 1999, Man on the Moon had all those things. Sadly, much like Andy's career, it seemed people didn't quite get it. While Kauffman is a legend known by just about everyone nowadays (save for a few newborns), most people only know him by name, and a few choice career highlights. Today that's quickly changing thanks to the internet, though, and a quick Google search can lead to a detailed breakdown on everything Kauffman ever did. Man On The Moon was a superior film with an outstanding cast about a truly amazing talent. It was just ahead of its time, much like its subject.
