4. Walk Hard: The Dewey Cox Story (2007)
Budget: $35 million
Box-Office: $18, 317,151 One year before John C. Reilly and Will Ferrell became best friends, Reilly attempted to sing his way into American's hearts in Walk Hard: The Dewey Cox Story. A low-brow, spoof of Walk The Line, the Johnny Cash biopic. Co-Written by Judd Apatow, the film failed to bring in the big bucks even with the rising star power of Reilly. Perhaps had they waited a year until after Step Brothers was released and John C. Reilly became a fully fledged star, Walk Hard would have gotten the attention it deserved. None the less, a certified flop.
