10 Films That You Never Realised Doctor Who Actors Were In
8. Burn Gorman In The Dark Knight Rises
OK, so Burn isn't technically a Doctor Who actor seeing as his character in Torchwood, Owen Harper, never appeared in the mothership and was tragically killed off before he got the change to partake in the 2008 crossover (The Stolen Earth/Journey's End), but this is still worth mentioning nonetheless. After pickpocketing his way through the West End as Fagon's associate Bill Sikes in Oliver!, the actor briefly appeared as Phillip Stryver in Christopher Nolan's 2012 superhero epic The Dark Knight Rises. As the Executive Vice President of Daggett Industries, Stryver acted as John Daggett's assistant during Bane's reign of terror which meant he got to share the screen with the likes of Christian Bale, Tom Hardy and Michael Caine... sort of. Still, when you've been on set with John Barrowman (more on him later), you're pretty much prepared for anything.
