Ashton Kutcher is unquestionably the most famous name from the cast of That 70s Show. Aside from being a successful entrepreneur, he's been a prime lead in many popular television shows, from Walden Schmidt in Two and a Half Men to the more recent Colt Bennett in the Netflix series The Ranch.

Moreover, Kutcher has starred in various kinds of films, from the psychological film The Butterfly Effect to the cult comedy classic Dude, Where’s My Car. Most commonly, Ashton is the face of many romantic comedies. Most of them are decent enough viewing, others are sub-par and forgettable. However, the worst offender is My Boss’s Daughter.

Whilst most rom-coms in general have a small amount of charm to them, My Boss’s Daughter just feels completely thin and superfluous. The story follows Tom Stansfield as he housesits for his boss and in the process, tries to get romantically involved with his daughter. It could have been a fairly straightforward storyline but unfortunately, it’s loaded with so many unnecessary hijinks and distasteful imagery.

Worst of all, this film was directed by David Zucker – the man who provided us with the comedy of Airplane! and The Naked Gun, yet there’s no laughs to be found in My Boss’s Daughter.
