10 Films The Cast Of That '70s Show Want You To Forget

4. Hot Bod (2016) - Danny Masterson

Venom Topher Grace
Netflix

Just by looking at posters for Hot Bod, you somehow immediately know everything about it. You know the ‘humour’ will be full of crass jokes, you know the acting performances will be completely phoned in and you know there will be an empty, pointless storyline at its centre.

But in fairness, producer/director Michael Polish clearly wasn’t trying to depict a film with a deep meaning to it. The purpose of Hot Bod was to be light entertainment which you don’t need to give a minute’s afterthought to. In this modernised copycat of John Hughes’ Weird Science (1985), two lonely teenage nerds accidentally discover a super-model sex-bot (Bardot).

Danny Masterson portrays the film's least annoying character - Agent Koontz - but it probably doesn’t make it any less embarrassing appearing in a film like Hot Bod. It’s vulgar, irritating and goes out of its way to insult the audience's intellect.

Thankfully for everyone involved, there's very little trailers or promotions to be found associated with the film, and it is definitely for the best.
