When That 70s Show first began, Mila Kunis was a particularly obscure actress. Lying about her age to get the role of Jackie Burkhart, she then swiftly became one of the show’s best cast members which ultimately shaped her future career prospects as an actress.

Since the end of the sitcom in 2006, she is now an A-list celebrity and has starred in numerous amounts of popular films, including Black Swan and Forgetting Sarah Marshall. But not all of the movies Kunis appeared in have been a critical hit.

In the early 2000s, Mila tried her hand at acting in the film industry. She landed the leading role of Rachael Newman in American Psycho II: All American Girl. A sequel to the Christian Bale cult classic, nobody from the original film returned to the follow-up flick, and you can see why. This film is rushed, sloppy and devoid of soul. It lacks the intelligence of the first movie and absolutely none of the cast give a decent performance. As for Kunis’ character, she’s supposed to be a symbol of seduction but there’s really nothing appealing about her (especially considering how young she looks).

Thank goodness Mila Kunis fully redeemed herself with her later work.
