Ridley Scott's highly anticipated precursor to Alien has had me theorizing over the trailer ever since it was released. I think that even if someone hasn't seen Alien or anything in the Alien Franchise, Prometheus is still a film to go see, just based on the fact that Ridley Scott is back in the director's chair. Starring Noomi Rapace (the ORIGINAL Girl With The Dragon Tattoo), Michael Fassbender, and Charlize Theron, this film is sure to satisfy science geeks and nerds around the world. 1. The Dark Knight Rises
Release Date: July 20th (UK) and (US)
The number 1 film that I cannot wait for is Christopher Nolan's highly anticipated third and final Batman movie. After the cliffhanger of Batman becoming a fugitive at the end of The Dark Knight (2008), I (and the rest of the world) have been waiting with baited breath for 4 years for the resolution to Bruce Wayne's journey as told by Nolan. Introducing Bane (Tom Hardy) as the main villain and Selina Kyle AKA Catwoman (Anne Hathaway) into his Batman's third act, Nolan has been teasing the world of this movie for the longest time, including, but not limited to, cryptic websites, teaser trailers, and the release of the first 6 minutes of the film. If you see one movie this summer, it should be the Dark Knight Rises.
