3. Robia LaMorte - Spawn

Role in the Buffyverse: Jenny Calendar (Buffy The Vampire Slayer) Role in the Spawn: XXN News Reporter Robia LaMorte played school teacher Jenny Calendar in the first two seasons of Buffy The Vampire Slayer. She became a love interest of Anthony Head's Rupert Giles and was revealed to have been sent to Sunnydale to keep an eye on Angel, as she was actually a member of the gypsy tribe who had cursed his evil alter-ego Angelus with a soul. She was killed by Angelus when he snapped her neck (and proceeded to lay her in Rupert Giles' bed and revel in the highly emotional aftermath). Around the same time as her first appearance on the supernatural show, she had also played Natallie Ford - an in-universe news anchor for the fictional XXN station in the 1997 live action supernatural comic book movie, Spawn.
