10 Forgotten 80s Slashers That Still Have Some Stabs Left In Them

6. The House on Sorority Row (1983)

What to do when you accidentally murder the house mother who chaperones your sorority and you have a party to throw? OMG, AMIRITE? LOL!!!!!!!!!1!!! But in all seriousness, The House on Sorority Row is creepy as heck. As the sorority sisters and their party guests are systematically murdered with the dead woman€™s cane the film falls more in line with Psycho than any of its contemporary films. It places the emphasis on atmosphere and the paranoia of being found out rather than titillation and gore. For a film of this type it€™s smarter than it should be and well worth watching.
