10 Forgotten 80s Slashers That Still Have Some Stabs Left In Them

5. Evil Dead Trap (1988)

The Japanese were making slasher films well before Samara found the time to crawl out of that well. Evil Dead Trap follows a television host who receives a snuff film apparently made in a nearby factory. They enter the factory in the dead of night to find a totally reasonable explanation that satisfies everyone and they all go out for breakfast. They only thing they argue over is who picks up the tab. And if you believed that you€™d be dead in this film. Evil Dead Trap has a nasty streak that avails itself to our hapless heroes. The murders are graphic and brutal. The overall tone of the film is somewhere between Saw and Videodrome, which is actually awesome.
