So much mystery surrounded the role of Jessica Chastain in Dark Phoenix, particularly because such a talented dramatic actress could instantly turn one of the X-Men's villains into one of the highlights of the franchise.

Unfortunately, her talents were relegated to the emotionless Vuk.

Interstellar, Zero Dark Thirty, Molly's Game, Miss Sloane...watch her filmography and you'll see that she has so much potential to become an MCU mainstay if given the opportunity.

Chastain is a strong performer who deserves a stage to showcase her abilities on. Playing another X-Men character like Lilandra or Deathbird would be a fantastic casting.
