10 Fox And Sony Marvel Actors Who Could Reprise Their Roles In The MCU

Following that big Electro news, fans are starting to get really excited about the prospect of some sort of live-action "Spider-Verse." It's a cool idea, but those same fans are likely to be disappointed, especially when the signs are actually pointing to Jamie Foxx just playing a new version of the same villain.

However, there's still a way for a previous Spider-Man to return, and that's in the upcoming Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness. Spider-Man trilogy director Sam Raimi is in the director's chair for that movie, and with the Sorcerer Supreme travelling to alternate timelines and realities, it would be nuts for him not to stumble across a different web-slinger.

Even if it's little more than a cameo appearance, Tobey Maguire reprising his role as Peter Parker is a must for the Doctor Strange sequel, and it would be amazing to catch up with him and see where his superhero career has taken him all these years later.

If it leads to something bigger, great, but if not, then this would be a smart way for Marvel Studios to take advantage of an actor from the past and put a new spin on their character.
