10 Fox And Sony Marvel Actors Who Could Reprise Their Roles In The MCU

This is the obvious one, right?

Hugh Jackman's tenure as Wolverine may have come to an end in Logan, but in a new world, the actor can take this clawed mutant down an entirely different path.

It's worth noting that Jackman has made it clear on a number of occasions that he's finished bulking up to play Wolverine, but should Marvel Studios give him the opportunity to finally play in a sandbox that includes characters like Deadpool, The Hulk, and Spider-Man, there's a very good chance he could be tempted to don those claws again.

Marvel Studios is bound to have big plans for Wolverine moving forward, and whether Jackman would be willing to stick around for those is up for debate.

However, as he's as synonymous with the role as Robert Downey Jr. is with Iron Man, it would be a huge win for Kevin Feige if he can tempt Jackman back. Some will argue that a younger actor should be cast in the role, but Wolverine has never really been a young man, and there are a lot of fun, crazy ways for Logan to be incorporated into this shared world's history.
