Not ever funny movie death has to involve a person meeting an untimely end. An animal can be just as good of a substitute.

When working on a farm sometimes you have to do the dirty work of putting down an animal. It isn't pleasant, but after a while you probably get used to it.

However, for those not in the agricultural business, it can more than likely be pretty traumatising to watch, much like in the case of the unfortunate school bus of children that find themselves in the wrong place at the wrong time. At least for them that is, for the viewer it couldn't be better timing.

The movie is filled with random moments that come out of nowhere and are never brought up again, but out of all of them the cut to the inside of the bus and the collective screaming of the kids has to be one of the funniest. It's playfully mean spirited in a way that just feels right.

Hopefully that school has a good counsellor.
