10 God-Awful Horror Films (With Amazing Kills)

1. Piranha 3D

Considering Piranha 3D is a remake of a Jaws rip-off, we didn't expect much. Still, it was a nice touch to open with Jaws' actor Richard Dreyfuss being chomped up by the nasty critters.

But the film is let down by abominable special effects. The CGI for the piranhas isn't just bad - it's incomplete. Seriously, the razor-toothed beasties from 1978's Piranha were more convincing.

And yet, Piranha 3D is a must for monster fans, since it's stuffed with hilariously creative deaths. Throughout, you'll see a woman get her face ripped off by a boat engine, a cable slicing a bikini babe in half, Ving Rhames turning the man-eating fish to chum with a propeller, and a piranha swimming into a lady's stomach before emerging from her mouth.

Rather than spread these sensational kills evenly throughout the 88-minute runtime, they're all crammed into the same scene!

Naturally, sleazy porn director Derrick Jones suffers the worst fate. After falling into the water, the prehistoric predators chows down on Derrick's lower body, whittling it down to the bone. Just when you thought you've seen it all, one piranha takes a massive bite out of Derrick's genitalia. After a moment, the devilish fishy barfs the appendage back up, giving us an uncensored shot of a half-eaten ding dong floating through the sea.

The first-half may be trash, but once the kills start, Piranha 3D becomes one of the most entertaining monster movies you've ever seen.
