Slumber Party Massacre 2 is a blast from the past we all should be celebrating to this very day.

In this wonderfully wacky slasher, during a vacation with a few friends, a young woman's sexual desires physically manifest in the form of a drill-guitar wielding rockabilly musician out for blood.

At first you may be under the impression that Slumber Party Massacre 2 is nothing more than your average, run-of-the-mill slasher. However, the movie makes it known very early that it's nothing at all like anything you've seen, and much of this in due part to the killer.

Known only as "The Driller Killer" the slasher of this flick is one-of-a-kind. Whenever he appears, the movie completely switches gears, turning into what feels like a music video directed by the hypothetical love child of Freddy Kruger and Elvis. His presence gives the film a dreamlike quality to it, forcing you to question if the events unfolding are real or just the unhinged imagination of a young woman battling her own internalised stigma to her sexual awakening.

The guy doesn't just steal the show, but lights the whole stage on fire, making for an experience you'll want to repeat time and time again. Both visually and thematically satisfying, Slumber Party Massacre 2 is an absolute banger of a movie.
