Steven Soderbergh wrapped up his Filmography this year with two films. One is a made for TV biography of Liberace starring Matt Damon that I have yet to see and the other is a murder mystery featuring Rooney Mara trying to solve a murder she cant remember committing. Why cant she remember? Medicinal drugs have affected her memory of the time period. Jude Law plays a convincing Psychiatrist desperately trying to help the already suicidal Rooney Mara cope. Channing Tatum is also in the movie as her husband returning from prison. Catherine Zeta-Jones also plays a supporting role. There are a lot of elements that Steven Soderbergh carefully concocts a fantastic Hitchcock inspired thriller out of. He ended his career with a financial whimper but the actual film was a bang.
