Jackson lives to make movies; this guy has racked up 7 acting credits for 7 different films in 2015 alone, which means one of two things: either Sam Jackson really doesn't like spending time with his wife, or Sam Jackson just has to make the movies. Both fortunately and unfortunately, Jackson seems pretty much "up for anything," which means that the actor tends to star in great films, okay films, and terrible films in equal measure. It's a hodgepodge of blockbusters, low-budget flicks and "what the hell?" One of the best things about Jackson, of course, is his lack of pretension: if he likes the sounds of something (or - more accurately - he thinks it sounds "cool"), he'll star in it. That's how Snakes on a Plane got made, after all. But there are frequent missteps as a result of this approach to movie-making, this lack of foresight on Jackson's part. Maybe he doesn't care.
