We all have an opinion about James Franco, whether we like it or not. For some of us, he's a mercurial Renaissance man, who tries his hand at pretty much everything and makes interesting career choices. For others, he's an insufferably pretentious douche who can't help rubbing it in everyone's face that he's intelligent and unique. But no matter which side you come down on, I don't think anyone was expecting his performance in Pineapple Express. As Saul, the affable, easy-going drug dealer, he manages to accomplish the nearly impossible and steal the show from Seth Rogan. He's so laidback that he's pretty much useless, but he somehow finds a way to be hopelessly endearing. Any man who loves his Bubbe that much can't be all bad, right?
