10 Great Comic Book Movies You'll Never Watch Again (And Why)

8. Batman Returns

What It€™s About: The sequel to Batman, Returns find Gotham City turned upside down with the introduction of The Penguin, whose plan involves creating mass chaos and hysteria in a bid to become mayor. Laced into his machinations are corrupt businessman Max Shreck and the vengeful Catwoman, all of whom Batman must battle to stop in this gothic flick. Why It€™s Great: Michael Keaton€™s Bruce Wayne remains the best version of the neurotic socialite and Tim Burton€™s gothic sounds and stylings are even bigger and better than before. To top it all off, the triumvirate of actors brought in as the villains all brought immense credibility and flair to the film, cementing it as a worthy sequel. Why You€™ll Never Watch It Again: There€™s simply too many other great Batman films to justify coming back to Batman Returns. The Nolan series really eclipsed Burton€™s work in terms of action, making the modern feel hard to pass up. And if you were feeling nostalgic, you have Burton's superior first instalment. There's just no compelling reason to watch Batman Returns over a number of other Batman films.
