9. Ultron
Ultron is one of the greatest, if not the greatest Avengers villain. He was also created by one of the Avengers. Ultron is a robot created by Hank Pym (Ant-Man) based on his own brain patterns that have inherent mental instability. Ultron rebelled against his creator seeking conquest and the extermination of humanity. Ultron has a genius intellect and is an expert in robotics and strategy. He has created various different bodies for himself with superhuman strength, speed, stamina, durability and advanced energy weaponry. His prime body is made of adamantium, the same indestructable metal that coats Wolverines bones. He can transmit himself into other computer systems and can control hundreds of Ultron bodies simultaneously. Likelihood of appearing If the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) continues to be financially successful, it is very likely that Ultron will appear. It has been confirmed that an Ant-Man film directed by Edgar Wright will be released in 2015 as part of phase 3 of the MCU. It is possible however that Ultron and or Ant-Man may appear before then. The Iron Legion of Iron Man suits set to appear in Iron Man 3 present an interesting dilemma for Avengers 2. If the legion is not destroyed in Iron Man 3, why would Stark have a need for the rest of the Avengers? Maybe his Iron Legion will be taken over by another power, namely Ultron?
