10 Great Films From 2015 You'll Never Watch Again (And Why)

5. Beasts Of No Nation

A film detailing the trials of a child soldier was never going to be an easy watch, and Beasts Of No Nation doesn€™t flinch when showing the harsh reality of it. Idris Elba is fantastic as the brutal Commandant who leads the child soldiers; a man who is a monster and a father at the same time. Child star Abraham Attah is the real lead though, with the film showing how he transforms from a quiet boy into a trained killer, and his struggle to reconcile those two parts of himself. Why You€™ll Never Watch It Again: Beasts Of No Nation is just too disturbing and heartbreaking to sit through a second time, and people will likely remember the most unpleasant scenes without needing to sit through them again. The film is worth experiencing despite how strong it is, though few would be brave enough to go back for more.

Handsome. Charismatic. Intelligent. Noble. Witty. I'm none of these things, but I'm a half decent writer, I guess.
