10 Great Found-Footage Horror Movies You've Probably Never Seen

Once again, keep away from the woods! Just stay inside and watch movies about other people going into the woods instead, it's much healthier.

In Willow Creek, when a couple goes into the woods in search of evidence of Bigfoot, what they find instead is the true meaning of regret.

There have been so many Bigfoot and Bigfoot-adjacent horror movies made over the years that it's practically its own sub-genre at this point. For good reason too, as the mystery of Bigfoot and the rest of its hairy family lends itself to infinite possibilities. Few however, if any at all, have come close to being as terrifying as Willow Creek.

What initially starts out as a slow, almost mundane movie, eventually builds until it hits a point where its feelings of anxiety and dread become palpable. Without any hyperbole, the last 25 minutes or so of Willow Creek are so hair-raising (pun indented) that it's as if the movie is actively trying to set off your fight or flight response. Plan on having yourself a nice drink when it's over, you'll need it.
