10 Great Horror Movies That Need A Modern Reboot

7. Tremors

While Tremors was bordering on being a horror-comedy like the other entries you've seen so far on this list, it was definitely more of a straight-up monster flick than they were. Starring Kevin Bacon, the original 1990 movie was a huge success overall - moderately so at the box office, but massively so on home media - and it spawned no less than three direct-to-video sequels (the last of which, in 2004, was actually a prequel) and a thirteen episode television series which aired in 2003. The movies depicted attacks by giant, aggressive subterranean worm-like creatures known as graboids, which could tunnel underground, move faster than humans can run on land, and sense the slightest of vibrations on the surface, making them extremely dangerous. Horror fans would go wild for a reboot and it would surely be a big success.
