Puppet Master is a horror franchise that has spawned an almost unprecedented eleven movies (including the crossover with "Demonic Toys") since the first one was released back in 1989. The films centre around a group of anthropomorphic puppets that have been animated by an Egyptian spell, each of which is equipped with its own unique and dangerous device. Although not all of the puppets in the series are evil, the majority of them are and some of them are absolutely terrifying! The most recent instalment in the franchise was the 2012 offering, Puppet Master X: Axis Rising, which was one of the four movies in the franchise that were prequels to the original and it's about time the franchise got a reboot. The original franchise didn't get a cinematic release at all - all of the movies went straight to home video - and it would be cool for a set of movies that have garnered such a cult following to start over and get the cinematic release they deserve.
