10 Great Movies Starring The Stranger Things Cast

1. The Peanuts Movie

Fear Street Part 2: 1978 Sadie Sink
20th Century Fox

Did you ever wonder what happened to Will Byers when he went to the Upside Down? He got launched forward in time to voice Charlie Brown in the best film from Blue Sky Studio's dodgy repertoire.

Based on the comic strip and short cartoons of the same name, The Peanuts Movie follows Charlie Brown in his quest to win the affections of the Little Red Haired Girl, and overcome his overly awkward, clumsy nature. Given Blue Sky's spotty record when it comes to animated films, it's easy to forgive fans for being nervous when it was announced they were going to tackle something so beloved.

Yet the film comes across as a loving tribute to it's source material while also telling a good story in it's own right. And at the heart of it all is Charlie Brown who is played masterfully by Noah Schnapp. The boy who would drive the first series of Stranger Things gives a performance both familiar and new, introducing a whole new audience to the exploits of Brown, Snoopy and the rest of the gang.

The animation is also stellar, looking enough like the comic to be recognisable but different enough to be unique. It's a wonderful film, Charlie Brown!
